Senalala Luxury Safari Camp, March 2017

We are a swedish couple that wanted to go on a safari for the very first time.
Actually it was the first trip to Africa for both of us so I didn't know where to start. I am a fan of Tripadvisor and started a tread there and got in contact with Jacqui Sive that answered my questions very informative and promptly so I decided to let her help us organize our safaritrip.
As the trip was part of me turning 40 I wanted a lodge with some luxury feel to it but the most important thing was the possibilities to actually be able to see the big 5.
Jacqui found Senalala luxury lodge and it was exactly what we were looking for.
The lodge was beautiful and we were welcomed from the very first minute after arrival. The food at this lodge was absolutely amazing and before every meal the staff called us to the table by hitting some african drums.
We had a very nice and knowledgeable guide and was able to see all the big 5 in three days and also wild dogs which was very rare.
During our last day we did a bush-walk with our excellent tracker H.J and shortly after we had left the lodge we heared a roar nearby. It was a female leopard and we started to run and were then able to see it.
A magical moment that I will never forget.
The safari surpassed our expectations and the contact we had with Jacqui throughout our booking process were equally good.
She had contacted the lodge shortly after we had checked in just to hear that we were ok.
I would highly recommend Senalala luxury Lodge and we will use Lodge trackers for our next trip to the wild.

MARCH 2017

I would like to say a huge thanks to Jacqui for organising my 5 day safari on my recent trip to South Africa. I was about to embark on my 15th trip to South Africa but this was my first time to the Greater Kruger area. I was travelling solo and had some quite specific requests. Jacqui couldn't have been more helpful and suggested some great lodges all within my budget. Jacqui steered me towards Senalala in the Klaserie and Arathusa in Sabi Sands. What great choices, especially Senalala. This lodge is just so authentic and the managers passionate about providing their guests with a special holiday. I will never forget the wild dogs I saw there, so rare now and the ultimate pack animals. We saw a huge herd of buffalo and were just immersed in the middle of them, again magical, as were the big breeding herd of elephants with their babies. Sabi Sands is a beautiful reserve and cat sightings were in abundance at Arathusa, both leopards and lions. A pride had a kill just behind the lodge, I wondered what the noise was in the middle of the night! I could never have imagined that I would have such an amazing time and see such a huge number of animals. The rangers helped us see the small things too. My bird spotting has improved greatly and even toads, moths, mongoose and scrub hares were pointed out. I can't wait to arrange my next trip with Jacqui.

Jacqui; My family and I are indebted to you for the awesome service and help you provided in planning our family safari in January 2017. Being halfway around the world and trying to understand options and best fit for my family of 6 was nerve racking and we didn't know what to expect. We arrive home now, completely fulfilled and amazed at the experience. Working with me remotely to find Kambaku Lodge, and then interacting with them and the transfer service to make sure that everything was cared for was seemless. It was the experience of a lifetime and we sincerely thank you! I highly recommend your service and will continue to direct family and friends to you in the future. Kyle S

We decided on a South Africa holiday and wanted to go on safari.
Searching for the right safari experience is daunting to say the least. After couple of hours I stumbled upon Jacqui’s comments on Trip Advisor.
I sent her a quick email with few questions and the rest was history.
I promptly got a reply and we exchanged a few emails. Jacqui asked about the important things for us in terms of safari and accommodation and came back with different options.
We chose Klaserie Sands River Camp and it was one of the most incredible experiences we have had. Jacqui knew everyone and sorted us out with everything from transport to the little details of what to pack.
She was super helpful and happy to chat over a whatsapp call easily.
She made us comfortable with our choice and homework and we made this overwhelming task so easy and smooth!
Klaserie Sands River Camp is a truly wonderful place.
I read comments on Trip Advisor about how some rangers on safari drives don't speak english or don't explain about the animals and nature. Meeting Brian at Klaserie proved the total opposite of this.
He is exceptional, very professional and was our ranger for the drives (and also co-owner of the camp) which all added to the experience. Brian would occasionally stop the jeep and we would go for a walking safari to try and get close to a rhino or an elephant.
We were lucky enough to see the big five thanks to his amazing skills (and that’s an understatement)! Needless to say that the food and accommodation were top notch whilst preserving the rustic element of going on a safari.
It was the sort of experience that makes you want to go back to explore more of the wildlife. We would recommend Jacqui, Brian and Klaserie without hesitation and wish them all the success that they deserve.

Senalala Luxury Safari Camp + Baobab Ridge, OCTOBER 2016

We are two Canadian couples in our mid- sixties that wanted to take the trip of a lifetime to celebrate our retirements. We had no idea how to go about planning a trip to South Africa - we knew we had about a month to spend travelling and that we wanted to go on "Safari" for about a week of that time. We contacted Jacqui at Lodge Trackers and she was fantastic - enthusiastic, knowledgeable, practical and not one bit pushy! We built our trip around her suggestions and arrangements for Baobab Ridge and Senalala. Both private reserves were great. We were so well taken care of, the rooms were lovely, the food exceptional, the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and the game drives were so wonderful. In retelling our animal site stories everyone tells us we had exceptional luck but I believe it was the exceptional guides and lodges that were chosen. The level of "luxury" and service was just right - Jacqui really understood what would suit us. I must say that we wouldn't have found these reserves on our own and our time spent at both was absolutely the highlight of our vacation. Jacqui was able to take the "unknowns" out of the way for us and was always so easy to communicate with. We can recommend using Lodge Trackers unreservedly and it is my hope that we have an opportunity to use her services again one day!

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, July 2016

We had a two day gap in our travel plans and were looking to book a game lodge.
I stumbled across some of Jacqui's comments on Tripadvisor which seemed quite informed and helpful, so I sent her an email. I'd planned the rest of our trip myself, but deciding on a lodge within our budget and arranging transportation was a little daunting.
Also, with our limited time I wanted things to go smoothly and liked the idea of having someone to call if anything came up. Jacqui was quick to reply and had a suggestion which was a better rate than the one I had in mind and turned out to be a fantastic experience.
I highly, highly recommend Gomo Gomo Reserve. We were looking for something relaxed but comfortable, which is exactly what we got.
Actually, it was more luxurious than I expected with our budget. The staff and rangers are superb and the game viewing exceeded our expectations. In our two days we spotted almost everything I could hope to including wild dogs, multiple leopards, and an aardvark (apparently this is quite rare).
Before we left, Jacqui even checked ahead with our next destination to make sure they were expecting us.
Overall, booking with Lodge Trackers was a very easy, smooth experience. And Gomo Gomo was a highlight of our trip for sure.

Africa on Foot and Kambaku Safari Lodge, June 2016

We loved our safaris and credit Jacqui of Lodge Trackers with turning planning from an overwhelming chore into an manageable, even exciting, task.
I saw several of Jacqui's posts on Trip Advisor while trying to sort out the myriad of options available for a safari in the Kruger area.
She clearly loves the area and seemed knowledgeable and helpful, so I sent her a short note. She quickly replied with an overview of what to expect and questions to help us think about our budget, vision for our safari, etc.
Several exchanges of notes later, we had learned about safari camp schedules, prices, facilities, and traverse areas; had details on several camps that met our criteria; and, as a bonus, had info on a special offer of 4 nights for the price of 3 one camp was offering.
We ended up staying at Africa on Foot and Kambaku Safari Lodge, seeing more animals than we had dreamed possible, and thoroughly enjoying both places.
Jacqui scheduled the stays for us, arranging space to be held while we sorted out flights, and arranged a shuttle from Johannesburg as well as the other transfers we needed.
She stayed in contact with us up to and throughout our trip, making sure all was going well.
She is enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend her!

Senalala Luxury Safari Camp, June 2016

I was overwhelmed researching where to go for our safari in Kruger. I found Jacqui through Trip Advisor. She had answered some questions on a string regarding safaris and sounded knowledgable. I contacted her. She was quick to respond initially and that quick throughout the booking process (before/during/after). She asked what things were most important to us in a lodge, and helped us narrow down our choices. All of her recommendations looked great! With further back and forth, we settled on Senalala Luxury Lodge. It had everything we wanted: great safaris with lots of differnt animal sightings, a watering hole at the lodge where we saw lots of animals, great food, a fantastic guide, and a beautiful place to stay. She arranged transportation to and from JNB for us, which worked perfectly. She was helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I will recommend her to all of our friends without hesitation.

Senalala Luxury Safari Camp, February 2016

In organising a 60th birthday safari for my for my wife I failed to make any headway despite contacting many game lodges and agents. Luckily came across Jacqui Sive of Lodge Trackers on TripAdvisor who was the only person to really understand our requirements and came up with some very helpful suggestions. We went ahead with Senalala Lodge and had the most brilliant time there. Jacqui is very enthusiastic... very knowledgeable.... responsive and was interested throughout how things went.

nThambo Tree Camp, January 2016

I discovered Jacqui when I was reading through reviews on TripAdvisor. I noticed she gave well-written, informative answers to reader's questions. I emailed her for help and continued to be impressed and thankful for her timely answers and guidance. My thanks only quadrupled when we arrived in Joberg a day late because of flight delays only to discover my final connecting flight had been cancelled. I called Jacqui at 9pm, frazzled and worried we couldn't make our safari the next day. She answered the phone right away, set up last minute transfers, told us where to find a nearby airport hotel and even suggested a place we could buy clothes to replace those in our lost luggage! We were able to make it to nThambo Tree Camp, relaxed and on time. We loved our experience at nThambo. Jacqui genuinely cared about matching my desires with an experience I would love and still afford. She was even willing to suggest places for me to stay, knowing she couldn't make any commission from the suggestion. Jacqui gave me peace of mind before and during my entire trip.

Kambaku River Sands & Inyati Game Lodge

Jacqui did a fantastic job helping me and my fiancé identify/book a lodge that offered the luxury accommodations we were looking for and that fit into our budget. The experience was nothing short of spectacular. Jacqui did a fantastic job of handling all of the little things that travel agents typically lose sight of (e.g., car service, private dinners, excursions). Also, she seems to have a far better understanding of the subtle differences between the various lodges and private game reserves (likely because she lives on the ground) - differences lost on most of the other travel agents we spoke to. - Joey and Carley

Umlani Bush Camp, Kambaku Safari Lodge, Africa on Foot, November 2015

My planned trip to South Africa fell apart about 2 months before I was scheduled to leave. Since I had the flight booked, I frantically emailed some companies to find a tour or something I could join. My dates were locked and my budget was tight for solo travel, as single supplement fees are often steep. No big company could come up with a solution. In a panic, I turned to TripAdvisor to see if I could figure it out myself. As I read reviews and Q&A, I kept seeing thoughtful, helpful posts by Jacqui Sive at Lodge Trackers. Since she is in South Africa and I am in Seattle, I wrote her an email, explained my predicament, and had an email from her waiting for me when I woke up the next morning. Thus began a series of exchanges that had me waking up in the middle of the night eager to read her latest emails about possible itineraries. Jacqui's excitement and enthusiasm for the bush is contagious, and her knowledge of the greater Kruger area seems endless! In a stunningly short time, she crafted a plan for me that aligned with my existing travel dates and was under the budget I'd set. She steered me in the right direction regarding the best lodges for a single adult focused on animal experiences (rather than the wine list), highlighted places with low or no single supplements, explained the importance of traversing rights, took advantage of some deals, and arranged transport between lodges. In other words, she worked very hard to make this the trip of my dreams. And she succeeded! I had amazing sightings of animals - wild dogs, a rare white lion, many leopards, hundreds of elephants, lions with cubs, and so much more. The lodges she booked for me were fantastic - wonderful people, great meals, and rangers and guides who put guests right in the middle of the action. What is more - during my trip, Jacqui checked with me to see how it was going and if I needed anything. She made me feel like I had a friend in South Africa whom I could turn to any time. That extra service, combined with her attention to detail, is priceless. I thought this trip would be my one time visit to South Africa. But I had such a good experience, that I'm going back in 9 months with a friend and again a year later with family. And yes, I'll be calling on Jacqui to help me plan and arrange those "trips of a lifetime" too.

Kambaku River Sands, November 2015

When I discovered at just 4 weeks notice that I may have the opportunity to travel from the UK to South Africa with my work, my immediate thought was....could I possibly achieve my dream of a true African safari experience?! My first efforts at searching the internet for flight connections, accommodation, transfers and options for game drives left me utterly bamboozled...and then I began to read the objective, honest and tailored advice posted by Jacqui Sive on TripAdvisor. Within 48 hours of making initial contact, Jacqui presented me with a set of recommendations which reflected my own specific requirements and maximized the time I had available at the end of my work trip. I enjoyed the most fantastic stay at the Kambaku Lodge in the Timbavati reserve and am already plotting my next African adventure with Jacqui!

Kambaku Safari Lodge, November 2015

I was recommended Jacqui's services by a friend and approached her to arrange a quick trip to Kruger National Park after working in Johannesburg.
From the outset Jacqui was friendly and responsive, finding out my needs and presenting several options for me to consider which met all of my requirements, including catering for my gluten intolerance!
Jacqui responded very quickly to all of my questions and arranged the whole trip including airport transfers for me so all I had to do was book my flights.
Kambaku Safari Lodge was beautiful, an intimate setting, friendly staff, lovely accommodation and great food!
I was lucky enough to see the big 5 on my short trip too, a truly memorable trip, and one I hope to repeat- thank you Jacqui!

Kambaku River Sands, October 2015

After being overwhelmed by the choices for safaris in and around Kruger, I happened to come across a few TripAdvisor posts from Jacqui Sive “Lodge Trackers.” Appreciating her knowledge and unbiased comments, I looked into her services and found that she is local to the Kruger area and runs a modest one person agency. I found Jacqui responsive, energetic, organized, and professional, focusing on assembling a personal experience, rather than pushing a standard package. Clear that she has no financial loyalty to a particular lodge, she offered several options in my price range and we discussed the pros and cons of each, finally settling on a choice that we both agreed would be a great experience. I can’t say enough about Jacqui’s local knowledge of the areas and properties and her ability to offer the best options for your desired adventure. I had an exceptional time on my safari and I certainly have Jacqui to thank for that. I can recommend her services without any hesitation and will hopefully have the chance to work with her again in the future.

nDzuti Safari Lodge & Sausage Tree Safari Camp, September 2015

Here are our guide and tracker checking out elephant and leopard prints on a termite mound.

My friend and I had never been on safari before so had many questions and concerns.
I was so happy to run across the Lodge Tracker folks because they were terrifically helpful.
They booked us into two lodges, negotiated for better prices than I could find on my own (yes, I checked!), arranged for all the transportation, and made lots of little suggestions that made the trip better.
I really felt very supported by Jacqui and her team.
We saw all the “big five” animals, mainly because Jacqui knew which lodges had better luck with which animals.
One place was a “glamping” lodge with semi-tent accommodations and the other was a really upscale fancy lodge.
I have some really odd food allergies, and Jacqui saw to it that the 2 lodges knew about this which made it possible for me to have fabulous meals.
Frankly, I had expected to spend the week eating rice and beans.
I highly recommend the Lodge Trackers to you; I’d give them 5-stars*****.

Kambaku Safari Lodge & Elephant Plains, July 2015

When a last minute opportunity arose for us to take a family safari in peak season, Jacqui's help and advice was invaluable! She quickly identified a number of lodges in the Greater Kruger which met our requirements, had availability for our dates and catered for young children (many don't). Both of the lodges we ended up staying at were terrific, and the holiday will be long remembered. We not only saw the Big Five but, on one occasion, saw the Big Five before 5pm on a single afternoon game drive! Our daughter absorbed a lot of information from the rangers and trackers - and, months later, still surprises us with the facts she remembers... leopard urine smells like popcorn, who knew?! Jacqui is friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond. We thoroughly recommend her.

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, June 2015

Thank you so much for helping us plan our trip South Africa. I so appreciate your advice in helping us figure out what safari options were best for us.
Despite spending a lot of time researching things on my own, I was confused and overwhelmed by all our choices and did not think I would be able to figure things out.
The time you took to understand our group, our needs, our interests and our budget really paid off.
The Lodge you recommended, Gomo Gomo, was perfect for us.
I also appreciate how you could intervene to shift our reservations when our travel plans changed.
It was a pleasure working with you!

Gomo Gomo and Elephant Plains, March 2015

When I first started looking into booking a safari trip for my family of 7, it was completely overwhelming!
Trying to find suitable accommodations and adventure that could cater to travelling with 5 kids (ages 9-16) was a challenge.
I eventually found Jacqui from LodgeTrackers and she almost instantly responded to my general inquiry and was able to help me book the most amazing trip of a lifetime!
She was so knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant, and knew all the right questions to ask me to find out about our specific needs.
She gave great suggestions and ended up recommending two places: Gomo Gomo and Elephant Plains – both of which were absolutely fantastic, and highly recommended!
She even coordinated a night for us at another place that I had found on my own and wanted to try out (although no where near as good as the places she had recommended:)
The prices she got us were also excellent. You never had to wait for a response from her – she was so on top of everything.
She was even willing to help out with suggestions in Johannesburg and Cape Town!
Using Jacqui made the planning so easy and the outcome of our trip was fabulous.
I don't think I would plan a safari trip without her!
Thank you Jacqui!!

Africa on Foot, February 2015

When I booked my safari at Africa on Foot, Jacqui Sive of Lodge Trackers was an excellent resource.
I had an unforgettable 3 day safari at Africa on Foot early January 2015.It was a wonderful experience and I’ll always treasure my memories!

Using Jacqui’s knowledge and familiarity with, I utilized her experience and selected a smaller, exclusive Africa on Foot camp located on Klaserie Reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park.
Our guides, Greg and Mike were highly qualified who had a passion for nature.
Greg picked me up at Hoedspruit Airport and when I arrived at Africa on Foot I had a refreshing swim in the camp’s pool. Following a delicious meal, we headed off for an evening game drive.
Greg and Mike’s local knowledge of the landscape and wildlife significantly improved our group chances of seeing plenty of lions, rhino, elephants, hyenas and zebras.
Africa on Foot was fantastic!
I enjoyed the “off-road” Landover safari that allowed us to get closer to the wildlife. It was also absolutely terrific in taking our morning safari walks with our guides.
It was a great way to stretch our legs and work up an appetite for breakfast.
Our meals were delicious and I enjoyed the very social activity of having our meals together and sharing stories of the animals we viewed and our travels.
Whether I have my perfect Kruger area destination and itinerary in mind or I am not quite sure which destination is best suited to my needs, I will definitely be in touch with Jacqui to help me organize my next safari visit! Thank you again Jacqui!

Arathusa Safari Lodge, June 2014

To say I am an over planner is a drastic understatement.
I started researching 3 years prior to our South African vacation. I read reviews and forums. I used Google Earth. I sought information from every source possible. I found several people who consistently reached out and answered questions on Trip Advisor.
Among those names was Jacqui Sive who was very knowledgeable, never condescending, never rude, and always professional in her responses.

After watching her on TA for a year, I decided she was the person I wanted to help me.
She was patient with me through all my questions and indecision. She worked with me on getting answers to specific questions.

She was able to help narrow the huge choice of lodges for me to dig deeper into my research (as that is my choice to do research).  Together we decided Arathusa Safari Lodge would check off all my boxes (and then some!).
She worked with the staff to ensure my special food needs were met. She worked with
outside tour companies and lined up a hot air balloon ride, a trip to the panoramic route (including God’s Window, Potholes, etc.), and she even help me arrange a private charter flight through Federal Air so that we could arrive quickly to the lodge our first day and not miss a thing!

In fact, my experience with Jacqui led me to ask – hey, can you make arrangements for me in Cape Town? She also helped me secure Azamare Guest House in Camps Bay for that portion of our vacation. I worked with Jacqui for almost 2 years and came to realize that I should pursue a dream I’ve always had of being a traveler counselor as well.

It is because of Jacqui’s encouragement that I now have earned my CTA (Certified Travel Associate) and have started my own travel agency in the US.  Working with Jacqui is more than beneficial when trying to decipher all the information that is out on the internet; it is a necessity. Knowing that companies always represent

themselves in the best light, Jacqui can offer true insight to what a property and the staff are really like.   I am very thankful to Jacqui for all the help she has given me over the past 2 years. I am certain I’ll use her in the future.

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, April 2014

I had been trying for a while to navigate the innumerable game lodges that exist in and around Kruger National Park.
Fortunately, I came across some advice from Jacqui Sive on Tripadvisor and I decided to contact her.
That was THE best decision of the trip!
She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She quickly helped us find and book a lodge that suited our interests, family and budget.
Gomo Gomo was excellent!
Everyone was extremely helpful and loved children. They love their work and cooperate well with surrounding lodges to help you find the animals.
The lodge itself was extremely comfortable and spacious and the food was scrumptious
. I strongly feel that we owe our amazing experience to Jacqui.
She is extremely patient and answered many, many emails in great detail; you could see the smile in her letters!
I strongly recommend Lodge Trackers.
I only wish there were Lodge Trackers for every place I would like to visit on this planet!

Tanda Tula, June 2014

In June 2014, I had the opportunity to travel back to Cape Town and knew that I had to add a trip to Greater Krueger to fulfill a dream of mine- a true African safari experience.

Once I got my best friend on board, I started to search for the perfect camp for us. And it was OVERWHELMING!
I love research, but this was a daunting task.
I came across Jacqui's thoughtful responses on tripadvisor and decided that I definitely needed expert help in choosing the right reserve and the right camp.
We gave Jacqui some initial requirements and took her expert advice and had the experience of a lifetime.
We had the privilege of talking with many other guests during our time at Tanda Tula and it became apparent that we had an exceptional experience and that we made the right choice in terms of length of time, reserve and camp. Mother Nature and Jacqui were on our side and we absolutely cried with joy at what we saw- from a wild dog to a young rhino playing with its father.
We simply can't consider this as a "once in a lifetime" experience anymore, so I know that we will be back in touch with Jacqui and Lodge Trackers in the future.

King's Camp, June 2014

I found Jacqui because of her many helpful posts on Trip Advisor.
My initial email started with: My head is exploding – I don’t know how to pick a safari lodge! Jacqui’s friendly reply made me sure that she not only understood my criteria, but that she would be able to recommend some place that would work for me.
I was traveling with my adult son and while we were willing to share a room, we needed a lodge where the bathroom was completely private – something that is actually not that easy to find.
My expectations were high because this was my second safari and the lodge I went to previously was just spectacular – way more than 5 stars! After allowing me to list all my criteria – as nice as where I’d been previously but not as expensive, bathroom with a door, wifi, gym, and great food to keep my “foodie” son happy, Jacqui was able to help me narrow down my search and land on King’s Camp – a phenomenal place where we had a spectacular time!
As it turns out, my son and I and a friend who came with us were the only people at the lodge for the entire three days and we were really spoiled!
Kings Camp was not inexpensive, but it was worth every penny and the experience is one that I will remember forever.
I was a little nervous about wiring money to someone I didn’t know in South Africa from the U.S., but the positive reviews and Jacqui’s knowledge and helpfulness allayed my concerns and helped me “trust my gut.”
Jacqui has a vast knowledge of all of the camps and could not have been more helpful.
She really made an effort to understand what was important to me and was able to far exceed my expectations. Absolutely everything was handled with no issues – the airport transfers, fees to get in to the reserve, and all of the fees for the lodge.
Jacqui was able to provide advice on issues big and small – and she never made me feel like I was asking too many questions! I will most definitely plan to come back to South Africa and the first person I will call will be Jacqui Sive!

Africa on Foot & nThambo Tree Camp, June 2014

Trying to find the perfect safari destination and lodge for your trip to Kruger is like trying to find your new favorite candy in box full of candy.
You can't try them all so you have to make a couple guesses and pray you pick the right one. Or you could contact Lodge Trackers and talk to Jacqui.
I call her my candy expert.
I was overwhelmed with all the safari lodge choices and she became the lighthouse leading me toward my incredible safari experience. It was very easy to give her an idea what you are looking for and she will give you several places that suit your expectations.
Once you make a choice you will find yet another reason to utilize Jacqui: you are going to have a bunch of questions about all the little stuff for your trip.
She is your safari wikipedia and will get you the information you need. I was so thankful to have run across Lodge Trackers.
Jacqui made my safari so easy and comfortable. I will absolutely use her services again when I return for another trip and I'm telling anyone who is interested to do the same.

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge,  April 2014

Jacqui Sive at Lodge Trackers organised an outstanding safari for our group of four in early April 2014.

I have to admit that we were initially worried dealing with a travel agent from outside of Australia but the recommendations on trip advisor helped to allay our concerns.

The prices that Jacqui managed to negotiate were better than what we would have paid if we had dealt directly with the lodges and her patience in trying to find us the best lodge to match the needs of our group was much appreciated.

All of my questions were answered promptly and with great knowledge and enthusiasm for the area. Actually, we had one extended email exchange about wildlife breeding and conservation in SA which had nothing to do with her business at all but she found the time to engage and advise.

All of our transfers were on time and in comfort, the food and atmosphere at our lodge – Gomo Gomo - was very good, the staff were great – we really liked out tracker (Patrick) and guide (Damien) who never tired of our questions. The other Gomo staff were lovely too, the rooms were perfect and the position of the lodge, next to a waterhole, was outstanding - especially when the elephants came to drink!. The best part of course was the actual safari drives - we were lucky to have the vehicle to ourselves for the first few safaris and shared with a nice family after that – it wasn't too crowded. The sighting of a leopard in the tree with its kill and two other leopards and hyenas below getting the spills was the highlight but every drive was full of action.

We will certainly book through Lodge Trackers again for our next safari (hopefully in the next year or two) and highly recommend the services provided by Jacqui Sive and Lodge Trackers to other travellers.

Tanda Tula Luxury Safari Camp & Pondoro Game Lodge, April 2014

We came across Jacqui Sive of Lodge Trackers through her helpful web advice to others on various web forums and it was clear that she had an excellent knowledge and real passion for the safari experiences available in South Africa.

As it was our honeymoon we wanted something special and truly memorable to match the event!. Jacqui proved to be an excellent choice for our arrangements and was able to dovetail with our already-booked flights to sort out the transfers and lodge bookings for two separate lodges across 4 and 2 nights respectively.

This gave us the multi-destination flavour from 2 very different but both exceptional lodges; Tanda Tula in Timbavati and Pondoro in Balule. We saw all the animals we could have possibly have dreamed of seeing and were very grateful to Jacqui for all her help.

Jacqui was keen to understand our requirements, she offered excellent recommendations and fixed all necessary arrangements seamlessly for us. Thoroughly recommended!!

nThambo Tree Camp, October 2013

If you are planning a trip to Africa I urge you to use Jacqui Sive at Lodge Trackers. We have just left after 6 wonderful nights at Nthambo Tree Camp! A Safari in Africa has been a childhood dream of mine and the thing I loved about dealing with Jacqui was the questions she asked to understand exactly what we wanted. From there did she deliver on what we wanted. Nthambo is an intimate place to stay, max 10 guests, the staff are incredible, food, local and simple which was delicious! We had a massive amount of luck with animals sightings and we are so grateful we found Jacqui as she made dreams into reality for us! A massive thanks to the Lodge trackers team for your wonderful knowledge and passion to make travellers dreams a reality!

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, June 2013

It had been a dream of my wife and me to go on Safari in Africa for a long time. So when a visit to South Africa presented us with the opportunity we decided to go for it. The time we had to plan and prepare was unfortunately very short (3 weeks) which is why it was great that I made contact with Jacqui at Lodge Trackers. Every question was answered (and there were lots of them) as quickly as possible and a real sense of enthusiasm about the area and the wildlife came through. Lodge Trackers are based in the bush and know exactly what they’re talking about. The recommendations for game reserves to stay at were excellent and we had a fantastic time at the two lodges we finally picked. It was a better experience than we could ever have hoped for and Lodge Trackers really made us feel we could do it. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lodge Trackers to anyone trying to plan a South African safari, it was so good to get that kind of service from people that care so much about the area and are actively involved its conservation. In June 2013 we finally traveled to South Africa for the Safari trip. The whole trip was amazing! And I need to give the credit to Jacqui Sive from the Lodge Trackers. At the beginning all we knew we wanted to go on safari, but had no idea where to start. I started reading about people’s experiences of the Trip Advisors and found that Jacqui answered some posts. I contacted Jacqui and couldn’t be happier with her help. Each question was answered with great detail. We received many options of the places we wanted to stay and with Jacqui’s help we narrowed down and chose a wonderful Tanda Tula Camp in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. We spent a wonderful 4 nights, have seen the Big 5 and more during our eight indescribable game rides. The staff at the Tanda Tula was so nice and welcoming. They made us feel so special, we didn’t want to leave. So, thank you Jacqui for your wonderful help – we couldn’t done it without your help!

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge, May 2013

Jacqui Sive created an amazing experience for our group of friends on our visit to Kruger. Jacqui crafted our safari from the ground up. She helped us pick an amazing lodge, worked out all of our transportation needs, and was incredibly responsive and hands-on during the entire process. We enjoyed working with her so much we worked out a way to meet her while visiting the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. Our safari was such an incredible adventure, and one that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Jacqui and her partner Ken have done an amazing job creating Lodge Trackers, and we can't thank them enough!
